Bio
Antonis is an ICT engineer with over 15 years of experience on applied research and innovation on IoT and wireless communication systems. He is the Innovation Director at CyRIC, working on new product development, research and innovation in the areas of the Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial IoT, LPWAN/LoRaWAN, SatCom, SatIoT, Wearables, Instrumentation and Bio-Photonics..
Previously he has completed postdoctoral project AUTOWINFI (Autonomic Wireless Networks for the Future Internet) at KIOS Research Center (Uni.Cyprus), while he has received the PhD degree from the Centre for Communication Systems Research (CCSR, Uni.Surrey, UK) and a first-class honours Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Dipl-Ing) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, Greece). Since 2008, he has independently taught various telecommunications and computer engineering courses at CIIM, OUC, UNIC, and CUT, at undergraduate and graduate level.
