Bio
Michael Amprikidis (PhD – Male) is the head of the aerial systems division at CyRIC specializing in UAV Operations Management, Operational and Engineering Technical Documentation, Aviation Law and the Software and Hardware design considerations of UAV’s. He acquired his Batchelor and PhD in the faculty of Engineering from The University of Manchester and completed two postdocs with European and North American aviation establishments. He has been involved in aircraft maintenance training as an instructor in a part 147 maintenance training organization, and in aviation management as a lecturer at the European University as well as a specialized consultant for European airlines and Chinese manufacturing companies. He is the author of safety management systems with human factors coursebook at the International University of applied sciences and is also an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle pilot instructor and an Airbus certified flight operations engineer.
